Friend in Love

 

I want to be her friend,

But I love her,

How can I meet with her,

When her face is all I wanted to see,

How I can talk to her,

When her voice is all I wanted to hear.

 

However,

I don’t want love right now,

My worthiness is too shallow for her,

I just want to know her,

And help her through the void,

Where companions are the potions,

For surviving the lifetime trial.

 

Time might discover,

The distance of us,

I don’t want to lose someone,

Through my selfishness,

Neither lose myself,

Through my ignorance.
